This world is yet a mystery to us. The more explored the more persistently it appears to be raveled. Millions of speculations that send chills down the spine of the explores. No matter how much we try to dive deep, it only gets more mysterious. Curiosity gets the better of me whenever I so much as get lost in thoughts staring at the stars at night.. This universe is infinite. And are there more of them? More of you and me? You never know.
Quite a fascinating world we live in. And you know what is the biggest blunder? We hardly know anything about it. 71% of the Earth is Oceans, but how much of the ocean is yet to be explored? Honesty, no idea. But here's one fact I have that will blow your mind.
Digging a hole straight down the earth was seemingly the easiest way to get to know what's inside Earth. The deepest hole dug by humans by a long shot is one on the Kola Peninsula in Russia close to Murmansk, alluded to as the "Kola well." It was penetrated for research purposes starting in 1970. Following five years, the Kola all-around had reached 7km (around 23,000ft). But then it had to shut down because of high temperate, 180C (356F) ahmm ahmm. Remind me how deep is our Pacific Ocean again? 11.022 km, it's that enormous. And yes, whales live there.

Mysteries Of The Oceans
1. Black Holes in the Ocean:
We've probably heard about the Black Hole in space. The fact is, they're present right on the EARTH AS WELL! Oceans are full of Black Holes. Researchers from ETH Zurich and the University of Miami have found that numerous huge sea swirls on Earth are mathematically identical to the black holes of space, nothing caught by them can get away ever.
2. Parallel Universe existing INSIDE the oceans:
Imagine a scenario where a gateway or a portal is opened from the Mariana Trench to the Sahara desert. Can it be really possible? Well, scientists found proof of mini organic entities living in the absolute absence of light and predominantly liberated from the world above. Mariana Trench is the deepest ocean on the planet and the Sahara desert as we all know is the largest desert, miles apart from each other but somehow still connected by microorganisms! Crazy right?
3. The Mystery Of Atlantis
The Lost City of Atlantis isn't simply fiction, it's a lot genuine according to the theories. All things considered, it was an island, presently sunk deep in the Atlantic Ocean. The degree of truth in this story is actually a secret in itself. Questions like where are Atlantis or do it even exist for genuine are as yet unanswered. In any case, until reality underneath it very well may be totally unfolded, the world will keep hypothesizing about the presence of the greatest city.
4. Is Jellyfish pretty? Well, it’s also immortal!
Turritopsis dohrnii a jellyfish species is declared the only immortal being on our planet. Apart from their predators, nothing can kill them, they can actually live forever! Light can reach only as far as 1000 m (33ft.) underwater and seeing how deep actually the Oceans are, there’s no light in there. Many of the living organisms in Oceans have never even seen sunlight, and if they’re pulled out they may probably die. Oceans are full of mysteries and we won’t ever know the secrets they hold. A whole new world exists in the ocean without human intervention. It makes me so curious how amazing that would actually look (yes, scary too) but it’s beyond our imaginations. Maybe all the mythologies are actually true!
6. Terrifying Deep-sea dragons:
Some terrifying creatures that we often see in movies are real, like Stomiidae. They freaking produce their own red light! They live 5000ft. Deep in the oceans. It’s quite dark down there. But you know what? They’re little, 5-6 inches and they only eat fishes half their size. Thank heavens! Imagine if there were big!
7. Can Mermaids be real?
I mean, why not? Mermaid sightings weren't something that began as of late. An incredible opposite, there have been claims that go as far back as the second century AD. Also, there’s less than 1% we know about the Oceans. There’s a high chance that creatures like mermaids and sirens do exist. Sure they may look completely different from us. As it’s quite dark deep down no human is able to actually swim to the bottom of any ocean.
8. The Great Bermuda Triangle
Bermuda triangle, otherwise called the Devil's Triangle, is perhaps of the most strange put on this planet. Situated off the southeastern bank of the US in the Atlantic Ocean, between Bermuda, Florida, and Puerto Rico, the district has turned into the Center of unsettling secrets. It is more because of the odd results that make it an exceptionally concentrated at this point mysterious part of the world's surface.
9. Vampire Squids:
These fishes have 3 hearts. Its scientific name literally translates to “vampire squid from hell.” wondering why? They are dark black, have red eyes AND they can glow! Crazy right? Wanna know one more interesting trick they can do? They can change their color from a soft light pink to jet black. Their species live deep under the ocean waters. they’re quite as old as the dinosaurs or might be even older!
It is true that some things about our universe are always going to remain a mystery. It leaves us to an open end, we can only just imagine how enormous our world is and what all it actually holds…
